TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown
The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
