Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know
TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is broad.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
